An in-house ceramic laboratory, Winbond Dental Laboratory was the FIRST Cercon® Centre in this region. The centre specialised in constructing high-quality all-ceramic crowns and bridges. Full ceramic crowns and bridges, made from zirconium that provides exceptional aesthetics with their metal-free restorations. These restorations are highly durable to withstand stress from biting and chewing.
Advantages of having an in-house dental laboratory including reduces waiting time for the local patients and international patients who planned their time-spent precisely, allow direct communications between the clinicians and technicians will to ensure quality control in all aesthetic dental restorations.
Winbond Dental Laboratory is equipped to serve the dental clinicians at large in the country. The technicians are highly skilled in the provision of a variety of high quality implant restorations.
Winbond Dental Laboratory is a highly competent dental laboratory, it houses the FIRST DentaSwiss® & BioDenta® CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) to improve the on design and fabrication of dental restorations. It demonstrates the increase the speed of design and fabrication which excel the dental laboratory services to a new level, both clinicians and patients are benefitted in serving cross time-zone patients especially.
Advanced Technologies: 3D-Imaging & Simulation System
KLIDC has invested in Picasso Trio® which combines 3 fully-functional systems – dental CBCT, digital panoramic and cephalometric imaging – into a single imaging unit.
Dental CBCT : Allows 3D visualization and reconstruction of teeth and jaws. It imparts a much lower radiation (about 1/5) to the patients in comparison to conventional medical CT (computerized tomography) systems. It is an important diagnostic and treatment planning tool, to ensure predictability and safety in advanced implant and oral surgeries.
Digital Panoramic Radiography : Digital wide full of a two-dimensional (2D) dental x-ray that both upper and lower jaws, teeth and surrounding structures and tissues are able to completely visualize in just few seconds, and the single image captured with improved clarity while exposing patients to less radiation.
Digital Cephalometric : Lateral or side view x-ray of the face that demonstrates the bones and facial contours on a single image. It is very useful for the used in the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic problems.
